Les trois musiciens (2011) is piece for ensemble which deconstructs the geometrical shapes of in Picasso’s famous painting, and transports their proportions to time-interval constructs in an attempt to illustrate cubism from a musical perspective on the date of its first centenary. In it, an analogue process abstracts the contour of the three figures in the painting and modifies it through the piece.
